Want to learn how to play the trombone or hone your craft in varying styles and performance environments? Trombone lessons, led by Izzi Guzman, are designed with the complete musician in mind and allow students to be their authentic selves with their instrument as their voice. Rather than focus on one specific genre, our lessons encourage students to be versatile and expressive performers capable of playing any genre or style they may encounter, building technical and musical skills necessary to tell any story. Students will grow on the trombone through fundamental exercises, transcription and listening, repertoire study, and interpreting existing songs in their own way.

Beginners will learn the mechanics and fundamental playing techniques of the trombone with an extensive curriculum that prioritizes ear training before reading music so that the trombone becomes their voice, not a limit.

Intermediate trombone lesson will center around building a custom warm-up routine, diving deeper into specific genres and songs of the student’s choosing, and growing their musical vocabulary.
