Breaking Glass is a podcast exploring the intersectionality of neurodiversity and the music industry. The podcast is aimed to better educate neurotypical people with ways to improve the inaccessible aspects of the industry, and also to validate the experiences that neurodivergent musicians face everyday. The term neurodiversity encapsulates neurological disabilities like Autism, ADHD, OCD, Tourettes, and so many others. These disabilities affect how our brains are wired and how we perceive the world. Throughout society, there is a lack of accommodation for these different neurotypes, and this is super apparent within the music industry. Every episode of the podcast, we will discuss either an general topic of interest relating to our theme, express our thoughts on current news, review different pieces of media or technology aimed at helping the community, or a combinations of all three.
